  1. i dont think that we should have differnt medicines for diferent races because everyone is human and shouldnt be treated with different medicines!

  3. I dont think race should decide the type of medicine used on a patient. We are all human and have the same organs. so unless there is dire need for a certain type of rare medication we should all be treated the same. we are all equal.

  4. I don't really approve of the whole "race-based medicine". Everybody is the same, so I really don't understand why we would need specific medicines for certain races. When it comes to a person's health care and medications, I really don't think it should matter if someone is african american, hispanic, caucasian, etc. The only time that I think people should be "singled out" for medications, is when they have a particular condition. For example, if two people come into a doctors office with the same symptoms and illness, but one has heart disease, and the other one doesn't, obviously the patients will not be given the same medication if that medicine has possible side-effects dealing with the heart. That to me is a legitimate reason; but the whole medicine based on race idea, I don't really understand.

  5. I don't think race provides a valid measure of how a drug works.Race shouldnt decide who gets treated how or with what treatment. We are all the same and it is not fair that only some people get treated for sertain diseases and others can't just because they are not "the same".Race-based medecine, is not good. I dont agree, medications should be eaqualy prescrived.

  7. I dont think people from different race should be treated with diffrent medications according to their race because its not secure it can be a failure. Instead they should make medications that work best for everyone and are helpful. But i also do agree that other peoplpe need a better quallity of medications than others.

  8. I dont know. Im a little bit of both. I mean, if its going to better that one person and their race, then yeah, that is pretty good. But then everyones all about equality. So, im not really sure what to think about it. It has its positives and negatives.

  9. I pretty much agree with what everyone else is putting. I really don't believe in the race-based medicine, I mean we are all the same. Like Sara said, we all have the same organs, we are the same!If something works for someone, it's bound to work for another! I think they should take into consideration of whether or not the medicince will help your condition and illness instead of basing it on if it would work because of your skin color!
