Ok. I give the first one a 4. It wasn't all that helpful, because i didnt know some of the names. And it was so gross.
ReplyDeleteThe second one was alright, just a little hard to follow(like going from link to link). I liked that there was a test at the end though. I give it a 2.
The third site was way better than the first two. I liked how it actually gave a detailed but not lengthy description of each cat part. haha. I give it a 1. Oh, and it wasnt that gross either. :)
Um, the fourth was ok i guess. I give it a 3, because it was informative, just not that helpful as to what each thing was, in detail.
I couldnt quite follow the fifth one. I clicked one of the links on the site, and it took me to one you already posted, so I dont know. :/
well the firstlink was good it had big pictures and was easy t identify, 4. second was ok but didnt really thrill me, 2. the third on the same it had small pics and the colors were rediculous,2. the fourth one had some good info so its not bad, 3. the fith got me lost, 1. these are my ratings and i think they fit right in.
ReplyDeleteIn all honesty, I had to literally FORCE myself to look at those websites. I'm known for fainting because of things like that.
ReplyDeleteAnyways,
1.) http://bio.bd.psu.edu/cat/
This one was a lot easier to follow then the rest of it. It was the first one I opened and it totally grossed me out, but I think this one seems the best.
2.) http://learning.mgccc.cc.ms.us/science/cat/sld004.htm
This one is in a step by step slideshow. It allows you to navigate threw it easily, explaining the parts of the cat.
3.) http://www.dccc.edu/departments/biology/virtuals/vcat.html
This one gave you a lot more views to look at a cat, but it wasn't easy to navigate.
4.) http://library.thinkquest.org/15401/learn.html
I don't like the layout of this one. It just doesn't appeal to me.
5.) Well, like Victoria said, the last one just leads you back to the first one.
I have one more word to say...
GROSS!
-Ill give the first one a 3 it missed some info. like naming parts of the animals.but It was also interesting it gave me an idea of what the cat were disecting in class will look like :( Big pictures help but they were kind of disturbing.i agree with victoria:)
ReplyDelete-The second link ill give this one a 2 it was understandable no pictures but easy to follow.
-The third one was a little bit more clear i give it a 2. short and clear names but amybe not enough descriptions.
-The forth link was very clear and the images were also clear there was a good view of internal and external anatomicla structures.for this one a 1.
-The fith online disection link was not that bad i give it a 3.
I liked the first linked it was really helpful like with the picture of the cat and how it was labeled I give it a 1.
ReplyDeleteThe second link was pretty specific but it confused me because of all the things you had to click on it confused me. I give it a 4.
The third link was ok it was detailed and like victoria said it was cool how it tested you at the end and how they showed you how they made the link. I give it a 2.
The fourth link was helpful it kinda showed you like each body parts part. I give it a 2.
The fifth link i have to agree with Tristan it was kinda confusing. I give it a 3.
I agree with both Victoria and Tristan. I give the first one a 4. It did not explain what the different parts were, like their definitions and stuff. And the pictures were kinda gross. ( I seriously had my hand over my eyes while going through the pictures lol.)
ReplyDeleteThe second site I give it a 2 and 1/2. Even though there wasnt alot of explanation, it was straight to the point. Also as Victoria said, there was a test at the end. This could be a really useful study guide to help you for an upcoming test!
I give the third one a 1. Honestly, I gave it a one because the pictures were not that gross lol. I liked how you could click on the diagram and it would tell you specifically what that part did. This one gave a lot more info and details than the previous two.
The fourth one I give a 3 1/2. This website was very informative. It included pictures as well. Although my only thing was that it was kind of boring. It didn't really look like a lot of time was spent on it, unlike how the others were.
The fifth one, I would give a 5. It was confusing, didn't include pictures, and wasn't very informative in my opinion.
Ok i hve to disagree with victoria because i think that the first one was the best it had large pictures and was easy to understand ill rank it #1.
ReplyDeleteThe second one wasnt that helpfully it was more descriptive and not that many pictures ill rank it #3.
The third one was pretty explanitory. it gave you all the info you nedde with small pictures to go along and it was very easy to understand ill rank it #2
The fourth one was boring it wasnt that fansy as the other ones so this one will be ranked #5
The last one was ok but it gave too much information so that ones ranked #4
I agree with Victoria for the most part.
ReplyDeleteThe first website was pretty gross, the big pictures were appreciated, but still nasty & I didn't know half of the terms, I'll give it a 3.
The second website had a ton of links and I liked the fact that things were labeled a little better and I could understand more, I give it a 2.
The third website was definitely the best. It had clear (not as gruesome looking) pictures, everything was labeled & it even gave definitions of each term & the functions of the organs. It was very helpful & informative. I think it deserves a 1!:)
The fourth website was only alright to me. Powerpoints aren't necessarily the most exciting though, so I'm going to give it a 4... Also, it gets a 4 because the kitty's face on slide 2 scares me.:/
*cue the dramatic music*...
& the award for last place goes to, the fifth website. It was basically just a link that led to other links that you had to click on. Plus, the link for virtual cat dissections just led you back to the first website all over again. That's why it gets a 5.
-Frist one was really good it showed you great pictures. I'd give it #1
ReplyDelete-Second one was hard to follow couldn't really find out what to do. give it #4
-Third one was okay it was little confusing but i figured it out. give it #3
-Fourth one was okay a lot of people didn't seem to like it was easy to follow and showed pictures and discribed them fairly well. give it #2
-Fifth idk what to do. it was just a website with a bunch of random links. #5
i agree with the kids in the class
ReplyDeletei liked the first one the best because it showed you how to skin the cat instead of just telling you how to do it #1
the second was was a little confusing so that would be 4th
the third was a little bit easier to understand but still at the same time confusing #3
the forth one was also easy to follown so that one gets #2
the fifth one had way to much info son i will give it a #5
everyone's prediction were kinda close to mine but then not really but this was an good leason learner
ReplyDeletethe first one was a lot of pictures and not to mcuh information. #1
the second one was difficult to understand and it didnt show me anything #4
the third one was very informational sohwed alot about the cat #3
the forth one also was very good about giving information#2
the fith one was just about online dicetion. #5
i know this is late but...
ReplyDelete1)i think the first one was somewhat helpful but not as much as it could be, 4
2)the second one we descritive and had a lot of very good labeling i give it a 3
3)this was my favorite it gave defenitions and decsritions its number 1
4)There were to many slides for me to follow numbner 2
5) This was basically just a link to follow other disections number 5
